                      Kimcheon Gwa Ha Drink

HISTORY: Near The province of Kimcheon(SE of Korea), There was the clean and beautiful lake called Gwa Ha which was praised by myng dynasty's general "Yi yo song' as the same sweet water in china's  best lake. The Drink brewed with water of  Gw Ha lake once was the tribute  to the court and Japanese loved it to get it imported regularly

Characteristics: It used to be enjoyed by many scholars of the olden era, and it's also written down in many old scriptures that it's good for Circulation of Blood and neuralgia. History: It was inherited to the Family of very well rooted Yonan Yi Family, since One of those top tiered governmental officer of Choseon dynasty
(couple of hundred years ago)got granted the recipe of brewing the Drink,
Ingredients: Glutinous rice, Rice, yeast,pine needles,indigenous chrysanthemum ,Maximowiczia chinensis,the azalea,safflower.

History: It's the oldest known Drink of Korea, Mainly drunk in the royal court of Baekje Dynasty(more than a thousand years ago) and became so famous in Chosun Dynasty when many nobility used to enjoy.  So Gok is referred to this Drink since it uses less yeast (so-less gok-grain)

Characteristics: light green color with a little stickiness, peculiar flavor similar to camomila flower, Hard to find any other  grainy smell due to its antibacterial function of  camomila. It has comparatively higer percentage of Alcohol content compared to other traditional  liquor,  Wintery brewered one is said to be one of the best as the ingredients of the Drink were quite animated in that season.

History:  It was originated from the  traditional  method of  SoJu(popular drink), Jicho herb(Only be found in high mountainous area, and has a purple color root , which has excellent medicinal effect and used as traditional remedy for illness) which can be found in Jindo Island IS USED one of the ingredients of the DRINK
